Newomij finances real estate for corporate investors, using its own equity. The current portfolio has a size of around €150 million, divided over approximately 160 active loans, with Newomij’s ambition being to grow the portfolio to €200 million over time. When financing real estate, the customer’s interests are paramount. If a standard product does not suffice, customization is often the solution. However, the current mortgage underwriting and mortgage management process is supported by ISAB, a system that is 20 years old and technically obsolete. Therefore, Newomij is looking for a modern solution to support mortgage underwriting and mortgage management.
In addition to ISAB, Newomij uses Yardi, among others, for financial administration and SharePoint as a document management system (DMS). Relationship management (CRM) is currently administered in Excel, with plans to transition to Microsoft CRM in the future. An important requirement is that the future mortgage system can integrate with the aforementioned applications.
